The Speer Lawman 9mm Luger 147gr TMJ round gives pistol shooters a heavier, subsonic-range option for high-volume range work. Built for training, this handgun ammunition is designed to match the feel and point of aim of comparable self-defense loads.
Features:
- Feel and point of aim close to comparable self-defense loads
- Total Metal Jacket bullet fully encapsulates the lead core
- Reloadable brass cases
- Consistent, repeatable ignition for range practice
- 147-grain bullet at 985 fps from a 4-inch test barrel
The heavier 147-grain bullet in this load runs closer to the subsonic range and is often used by shooters who train with a heavier-bullet defensive load and want practice ammunition that matches that felt recoil. Speer's TMJ bullet uses a plated jacket that fully encloses the lead core, including the base, which keeps lead vapor out of the air at indoor ranges. Each box contains 50 rounds of 9mm Luger ammunition.
Speer builds its Lawman line for high-volume range use, applying many of the same manufacturing standards it uses for its duty and self-defense ammunition. The result is training ammunition that mirrors the feel of premium defensive loads without the premium price tag. Because Lawman ammunition is manufactured in the United States to the same quality-control standards as Speer's other product lines, shooters can put thousands of rounds through it without the inconsistent velocities or failures to fire that can come with lower-tier training ammunition.
