The OSP (Optical Sight Pistol) slide is the defining feature, cut specifically for the Hellcat's footprint to keep the optic as low as possible on the slide.

The Springfield Armory Hellcat OSP is a striker-fired micro-compact semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, built on a black polymer frame with a Melonite-finished hammer-forged steel slide and 3-inch Melonite hammer-forged steel barrel, with factory-mounted Viridian RFX11 green dot.

The Viridian RFX11 ships factory-mounted to the OSP-cut slide — no adapter plate, no additional hardware. The fiber optic front sight maintains a usable iron sight baseline independent of the optic. The High-Hand Grip geometry positions the hand as high on the frame as possible for a low bore axis and maximum recoil control in a micro-compact footprint. The Adaptive Grip Texture covers the entire grip module with textured panels that provide purchase without abrasion during daily carry. The reversible magazine release accommodates left-hand use. The U-Dot rear sight pairs with the fiber optic front for a fast daytime iron sight picture.
