Details
Note: this configuration meets California's handgun roster and magazine capacity requirements out of the box.
The Springfield Armory Echelon 4.0 FC blends the compact 4.0C slide with a dedicated full-length FC grip module, giving you full-size 17/20-round capacity in a pistol that handles like a compact.
Features:
- 9mm
- Four 10-round magazines included
- Factory-mounted Viridian RFX11 green dot optic, ready to run out of the box
- Meets California's handgun roster and magazine capacity requirements
- Serialized Central Operating Group (COG) chassis swaps between grip modules in seconds
- Variable Interface System (VIS) mounts dozens of popular red dots directly, no adapter plates
- Hammer-forged 4" barrel with a Melonite finish for corrosion resistance
- Fully ambidextrous controls, including the slide release and magazine release
- Tritium front sight with a tactical U-Dot rear sight
- Flat-faced trigger, squared front trigger guard, and a full accessory rail
The FC grip module keeps the full grip length of the 4.5-inch model but uses the shorter dustcover to match the compact slide, a crossover format Springfield built to bridge concealability and capacity.
The serialized Central Operating Group lets you swap grip modules without changing the serialized component, and the Variable Interface System mounts popular red dots directly with no adapter plates. The features above list what this configuration includes, including its magazines.
Springfield Armory has built firearms in the USA since reviving the historic name in the 1970s, and it backs its firearms with a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
