The follower in my Glock 19 gen 5 magazine gets caught in between the base plate and the bottom of the magazine when loaded with over 17 rounds. Other than looking nice, this base plate serves no function.

Other one star review is dumb, he installed it wrong or doesn’t clean his mags. I use these for USPSA matches and have had ZERO issues. Easy install, easy 20 rounds.
