The Superlative Arms Bleed Off AR-15 Adjustable Gas Block gives you a near-endless range of tuning for a low-recoil, reliable rifle. Built for a .750" gas block journal, this clamp-on gas block doesn't restrict gas flow like a conventional adjustable block; instead, it bleeds excess gas forward, using only what's needed to cycle the bolt.

Because the bleed-off port vents excess pressure forward instead of holding it back, the rifle runs cleaner and cooler, with less blowback to the face. This version adds a Melonite finish over its 416 stainless steel body for extra wear resistance. The detent sits outside the block, so finding a setting doesn't mean fighting carbon buildup or screw erosion.

Very Effective and Visibly so

I got this gas block to replace the restrictive only style gas block that I had, and while it didn't solve the issues I personally face, I know it's not due to the gas block itself. To be very clear, the bleed off gas-block, in its bleed-off mode, is doing VERY well in reducing the gas being sent back. I can see the filth left behind by the gasses being vented outwards in front of the gas block, and my rifle is cycling buttery smooth with that nice 4 O'Clock ejection pattern I was looking for. Since my rifle doesn't cycle with the can off, I know that the gas block is doing exactly what it's supposed to. I run an OCM5, it's old school and very gassy, but that's the trade-off for a very quiet can.
TLDR: This gas block works great at directing gas as it should, and the bleed off mode produces visible and tangible results.

Absolute top notch design and works better than described in description. Greatly decreases recoil and blowback. Only gas block to consider when reducing recoil.
Only adjustable block you should buy

SA publishes every practical external dimension of this block, so it takes willful ignorance to achieve incompatibility with a handguard.
The function of this adjustable gas block succeeds every traditional issue with adjustable gas blocks and performs further.
The only issue is you do have to be mindful of m-lok rail attachment positions at 6 o'clock due to the possible interference with the clamps. This is entirely dependent upon the rail in question though. Again, use the spec sheets and middle school arithmetic/geometry to confirm compatibility.
Seems like a great design

This seems like it is a great design, and may provide a superior seal compaired to traditional set screw style blocks. However this will not fit under modern slim style (Midwest Industries) handguards. It may fit under others, but not mine, the screws contact the handguard. I will use it on another rifle. I have used several Superlative Arms adjustable gas blocks and love them, just tried this one because of availability issues.
