The Superlative Arms Adjustable Gas Block is designed to give you a near endless amount of adjustments for tuning your rifle to be low-recoil and reliable. However, unlike conventional adjustable gas blocks, it does not restrict gas flow but redirects it out of the block, so only the exact amount of gas required to work the bolt is used. This bleed off style offers many improvements like a cleaner and cooler running rifle as well as better functionality in SBRs and suppressed rifles. Because of the bleed off port, the excess pressure cause by suppressors and short barrels is exhausted forward reducing the amount of gas blow back to the face. The Superlative Arms .750 adjustable gas block uses the set screw attachment method on barrels with the same diameter gas block journal. If you plan on shooting suppressed, building an SBR, or just want a better shooting rifle, this is the gas block for you.

  • .750” inside diameter
  • Set screw attachment method
  • Machined from 416 stainless steel with Melonite finish
  • Runs cleaner and cooler
  • Bleeds off excess gas to required pressure to run the bolt
  • Adjustment detent is located outside of block to prevent erosion and carbon seizing
  • Adjustment screw is removable but has a mechanism to prevent accidentally taking it out
  • Prevents gas blow back on suppressed rifles and SBRs
  • 30 adjustments
  • Includes set screws, gas tube roll pin, hex key for screw adjustment
  • Low profile 1.383” height fits under most handguards

This Superlative Arms bleed off gas block features a low-profile design, so that you can use most free float handguards with it. Also included is a 6” hex key for adjusting the gas block while it is underneath the handguard. With 30 adjustment settings, you can easily find the sweet spot to reduce felt recoil while staying 100% reliable. Because the adjustment screw is located outside the block, you do not have to worry about carbon build up seizing the screw or high pressures causing it to erode. Machined form 416 stainless steel with a Melonite finish, you can bet this gas block will last a long time.

The Superlative Arms company has over thirty years of Aerospace Engineering and Manufacturing leading to their many fully tested patent pending ideas and innovations.

I purchased this for a Micro AR build (5" barrel) to be able to adjust the gas correctly on such a short length. Instructions are straight forward and easy to follow with included extended length Allen wrench. Already over 1000 rounds with the AR after adjusting gas and have had zero issues. I'll be purchasing another one for my Grendel build.

Tuning: Leave your hand-guard off but put on the muzzle device you want to use. It's a pain to use the long hex. Start with it closed: clockwise when looking into the barrel. Turn it 4 1/2 full turns counter clock wise and confirm that the bolt does not stay open by firing one round on an empty mag. If the bolt opened, you are probably not into the bleed off yet, turn a little more. Once in bleed off mode and bolt does not open, turn 8 clicks more counter clockwise. Test again; the bolt should stay open. If it doesn't, add more clicks until is stays open. If it did stay open at 8 clicks then go back clockwise 4 clicks and test. If it still stays open, go back another 2 clicks and test. This method of finding where it does cycle and where it doesn't, then cutting the number of clicks in half is mathematically the fastest way. I use the Precision Armament M41 with this block and it shoots very soft.

very nice
