Looks Good... But too big
by Jeff -
Tried it with 2 different rifles and a mix of different hand guards and was unable to find any in my assortment that would slide over it (mostly m-lok styles). That being said it is smaller than the odin works I tried. The included pin is junk but I had a good spare otherwise the build quality excellent.
Best adjustable gas block
by Steve
My experience with adjustable gas blocks covers about every brand trying to find one that was worth the trouble. That said when I bought my first superlative arms adj. block for a 7.62X51mm AR type rifle that was seriously over gassed, I had no problem with the fit, and the function was as simple as could be, without the probability of losing parts.
The adjustable gas block took a monster of a rifle and tamed it right down (on my end), even shooting it with a suppressor it really showed it is the best one on the market, venting the amount of gas you don’t use forward out of the gas block it doesn’t needlessly hammer the action or smoke you out by sending the gas backwards.
I would recommend the SPA block to all, and suggest the larger handrails, m-lok’s can run run pretty small and if you shoot them much will show you why military uses a larger diameter, they get darn hot.
