The WARCOMP Flash Hider is the world’s most shootable flash hider. Every WarComp is individually inspected for concentricity and alignment.

NOTE: SureFire SOCOM Series Fast-Attach sound suppressors and current-model WarComps, muzzle brake and flash hider adapters are not compatible with previous (non-SOCOM) SureFire Fast-Attach sound suppressors, muzzle brakes, or flash hiders.

Primary Arms review

by -

I received the warcomp fast and well protected. When I opened the box, I noticed that the surefire package was not completely sealed and discovered that the shims were missing. Called Primary arms and they were understanding and shipped my shims without delay. Will order from them again. Top quality distributor.

I've had one on my 11.5" ar15 and my 16" ar10 for about a year now. Solid flash mitigation, decent compensation, and has the ability to interface with surefire can. This combined with a SA adj. Gas block gives the user a finely tuned rifle. I'd say this combo with a heavy buffer on an ar10 reduces recoil significantly, to the point of it being comperable to an overgased 7.62x39 rifle.

My only complaint is that they should of given the ability to neautrally time the device and still have the flash hider prongs in the correct position (port holes are slightly offset to cater to left/right hand shooter). I'm not a fan of this on the 5.56 model, because there's not much off center compensation needed anyways. The ratcheting system is nice as well, as you can swap one .30 cal. Can to your .223 guns easily.

Overall, pretty solid device, fits a jack of all trades role perfectly, albeit a little overpriced.

Read no further. Just buy it.
Perfect balance of compensation and flash mitigation. I timed it for a R handed shooter and it works absolutely beautifully. Works well with surefire wardens and their suppressors. `I personally have not had any issues with the ringing/pinging some people complain about but its more pronounced on my SF 4 prong than on this. I run it on my 10.3 and its an absolute beast. Highly recommend. As always, PA amazing with their shipping and CS

Best general purpose muzzle device

So I’ve been using Warcomps since 2016, for an all around muzzle device you can’t beat them. They help mitigate muzzle climb and can be tuned for right or left handed shooters or be set as neutral. They don’t give off concussion like a normal brake or comp does and it does an incredible job at hiding muzzle flash. It doesn’t tame recoil like a brake but it helps keep recoil straight back. It also works as a host for suppressors. Even if you don’t own a suppressor I still think this is a great muzzle device. It will make your gun a bit louder though.
