The SureFire X300 Ultra Weapon Light in black is a high-performance lighting accessory designed for pistols and rifles. Outstanding

Very pleased with the latest addition to my weapons capability with the Surefire X300U. I have it deployed on an FN 509 Tactical and the quick mount system is clean quick and rock-solid secure. It provides an amazing amount of light and a focused bright white beam that illuminates well over one hundred yard out. The tail switch is a rotating on-off switch with light touch end points easily controlled with a trigger finger for momentary on function when light pressure is applied. The aluminum light body and the rotating switch are stout well designed and thoughtfully executed.
I would certainly recommend, highly in fact, to anyone looking for a high quality weapon light with a powerful beam and excellent controls. I am tough on my weapons and weapon mounted hardware. They are in transit a lot and survive numerous bumps and bruising handling without failure or complaint. I buy the best because I know I can depend on the best, anything less is just that, less.
Overrated, regret the purchase

I purchased the Surefire X300 as it was on sale. Horrible purchase. Streamlight is much better than Surefire. The Surefire light was still more expensive than Streamlight, and is much harder to install. Even scratched the gun frame trying to tighten it up. I would never purchase Surefire ever again.
