The Tanfoglio Defiant Stock I SF in .40 S&W is a Short Frame variant of the Defiant Stock I, offering the same all-steel DA/SA action and Picatinny rail beavertail chassis as the standard Stock I with a reduced frame length that improves ergonomics for smaller-handed shooters without sacrificing barrel length or mechanical capability.

The 4.5" barrel maintains the same sight radius and cycling reliability as the standard Stock I, while the short frame reduces grip circumference and distance from trigger to backstrap for a more natural, consistent grip. The DA/SA action provides a deliberate first-shot pull transitioning to single-action for follow-up shots. A thumb safety enables safe handling during administrative tasks and holstering. Wood grips complement the all-steel chassis with traditional character and practical texture.

Built on an all-steel short frame with beavertail and integrated Picatinny rail. Compatible with Tanfoglio .40 S&W magazines. The reduced frame yields 12+1 capacity compared to the standard frame's 13+1. Ships with one 12-round magazine. Fixed sights installed as standard.
