not a regulation flag

I disagree with you brother. I am a Vet as well and this mat is not a regulation flag (old glory). As such it is not subject to the same customs and courtesies. So if you want to feel patriotic while cleaning your weapon I think that is a good thing.

Pride not cleaning

I agree 100% with Paul. However, I do think it is a cool piece to show of American pride. Maybe hang it in the office or your gun room.

Not What Old Glory is For

Tekmat makes excellent products, I personally own and use several of their cleaning mats. However as a Veteran I urge you to send a message by not buying this particular mat. It's disrespectful to use a likeness of the American flag as a utility mat, to be soiled with dirt and gunoil.
