Unlike many rimfire rifles, the Tikka T1x UPR features a cold hammer forged barrel, offering out of the box accuracy you can count on. The barrel is matched to an extremely rigid action with the same footprint as the popular T3x bolt, further enhancing accuracy while giving Tikka shooters a familiar platform to train with. The Tikka T1x UPR's action has been installed into an ergonomic fiberglass stock with carbon fiber bedding surfaces. The additional stiffness of the bedding system combined with the barrel and action ensures the highest level of mechanical accuracy. To help you get the most of that accuracy, the stock features an ergonomic vertical pistol grip design, encouraging an optimal and repeatable trigger press.
