Lightweight and built to the standards many have learned to rely on from the original T3, the Tikka T3X CTR features a hammer-forged barrel and smooth bolt actions. The modular synthetic stock allows you to change the pistol grip for a more personalized and comfortable fit. With a Tikka T3X CTR, you'll also get improved asymmetric qualities of the grip patterns to accommodate a positive grip regardless of the conditions. The T3X features a barrel thread of 5/8x24, and its overall weight is only 7.5 pounds making it an excellent rifle for an extended trip in the field.

Tikka has upgraded the recoil pad of the Tikka CTR to lessen felt recoil and includes a foam insert that reduces possible noise from the stock, and has redesigned the ejection port for easier single feeding through the port. On top of the Tikka T3X is an improved rail attachment system with an extra screw placement for a sturdier mounting of scopes and accessories. The metallic bolt shroud of this rifle is more robust and shields the rear of the bolt body and the firing pin. At the same time, Tikka includes a steel recoil lug that decreases deformation even when firing larger caliber ammunition compared to the original T3 versions aluminum recoil lugs.
