eh

i wanted to like this so bad, it looks nice and fit nice. BUT when you apply pressure on the tab it has so much play its not even funny.. its almost like the button its self is slightly too small for the receiver giving it way too much wiggle room. took it off after trying it out 3 times or so the only reason it has one star is because it came from primary arms

i would not buy again

i only bought this because there was a limit of 3 magpul extended mag releases. i really needed at least 4 of them so i got this to try out.
it looks good but, 2 big problems. the screw quality is poor. even with
the best quality driver the fit is sloppy. the major problem is that the button is WAY undersized for the mag release hole in the receiver.
i tried 4 different lowers from 3 different brands. all the receivers fit
both the mil-spec and magpul buttons fine. the fit is so sloppy with
the timber creek that i can move the extended release up, down and
and even in circles. not acceptable. the magpul version blows this one away.

It was a pleasure speaking to you and getting you taken care of. Please let us know if there is anything else we may assist you with.

Ok for a plinker, not a combat rifle.

I would avoid this if you're looking for true Mil Spec parts. I had planned to use this in a robust rifle build that includes parts from Geissele, Aero Precision, Ballistic Advantage, and Midwest industries; all very high quality manufacturers.

The button feels cheap in comparison to the Aero button that I was replacing it with. Also, it appears to be quite a bit smaller than than Mil spec, so there is A LOT of wiggle/play. When you attach the extension to the button, this increases dramatically. I'll be switching it out for something from magpul of another higher end maker.
