Not a Fan, Not a Drop In, Assembly/Machining Required

I must have been sent the AR10 version. I purchased an AR15 billet but it is a 1/4 inch too long to fit between the hing eyelets. I know that the casing dimensions don't change between "mil-spec" and "M4" sized AR15 uppers, so this large of a variance has nothing to do with the model of the AR15 upper receiver.
My other problem was having to install the ball catch in the dust cover. The Allen key end stripped immediately, and I had to bore out the pocket for the ball catch assembly to fit.
I love the ODG finish and the texture cut into the billet.

For starters, it does work with Aero's M4E1 upper receiver. Ignore the other review. Secondly, this product is made really well. Matches my ADM lower nicely. Would recommend on any billet lower. Lots of color options too.

Nice quality dust cover

I bought this for my two tone ODG build. I really like the heavier billet cover and the color is great. As it clearly says it fits mill spec receivers. I've had no problem there (I've bought several others since this one). Another reviewer left a low rating because it didn't work on the Aero M4E1. That shouldn't be a surprised, it isn't mil spec.

Does not fit Aero M4E1 Upper

Sadly does not seem compatible with the Aero M4E1 upper. The spring tension is too strong for the little locking button to hold into the opening.
