The Timber Creek Outdoors AR-15 QD End Plate is a replacement to your standard Mil-Spec end plate but allows you to use quick detach sling swivels for quickly attaching slings. It features three non-rotating locking positions and is compatible with right- and left-handed shooters. CNC machined out of aluminum with an flat dark earth Cerakote finish for durability.

Attractive Price, Low Quality Fit

Very nice finish, appealing price the good ends there. I made the mistake of installing only to attach the sling and realize the fitment was VERY sloppy. It did retain the QD socket but there is massive amount of wobble. Thinking I had an out of spec socket, I tried a few other (Magpul, Daniel Defense, etc.) and all were loose and wobbled.
I even tried some cheap amazon QD sockets and those were just a loose. Overall I wanted to like the product but its cheap junk.
