Details

Tipton's Best Gun Vise is the best tool you can own for working on your guns. The vise was designed to accommodate the widest possible array of firearms for cleaning, maintenance, or gunsmithing, and is easily configurable to handle bolt-action rifles, break-open shotguns, AR-15's, and handguns. A central aluminum channel lets the user move individual components to the ideal position for their firearm. Each individual component then adjusts to the perfect position for secure support. The rear base features two adjustable offset clamps for a tight grip on a wide range of buttstock configurations. The Best Gun Vise is extremely stiff and is made from high-quality, solvent-resistant material that will stand up to years of hard use.

Great vise, a few quirks

Pros:- Insanely adjustable, works with just about any firearm.- Makes cleaning so much easier in so many different ways. Holds AR upper/lower receivers apart. Puts the end of the barrel just past the end of the body of the vise, so I just place a small cup on the table directly below the muzzle to catch solvent/lube that drip through it. Has slots for cleaning tools and round-bottom holders for screws/parts (which come up at a low angle, making scooping them up with your hand way easier). - Can be mounted to a bench top and includes the hardware to do so.- Every part is very well thought out.If you have an AR pattern rifle there is one accessory I highly recommend you purchase though: the Wheeler 156211 magazine vise block. Holds ARs much more securely and makes dry-firing safe and has a bolt maintenance tool. So super long story short, if you're looking for something to make cleaning your firearms easier look no further. I absolutely would recommend this to everyone.

A decent vise.

I like this a lot. It's light, easy to assemble, and gets the job done. It also has many configurations for all types of guns/rifles, very versatile. The only con I have is the strength of the clamps. It will hold the gun in place nicely, but don't expect it to be a sturdy as a metal or aluminum vise. It wiggles a bit and depending on the gun in the grip, can slip if you're not careful.
