Details

TriggerTech AR Safety is designed to complement the company’s high-performance triggers. This safety selector can be configured into a 45-degree or 90-degree configuration and features a slick DLC coating for frictionless operation. Many safeties require the removal of the pistol grip, but TriggerTech has designed this part to install easily, which benefits the user when making trigger upgrades, cleaning the rifle, or doing routine maintenance. Interestingly enough, TriggerTech has also coated the detent ball tip with silicon nitride, and this is the same material that was on the bottom of the space shuttle. I really like these

Not sure what’s going on with the other guy but I find these safety’s to be very precise and positive in engagement. The shape is a plus and the action feels like a quality piece of gear. The detent is a design specific to this unit so make sure you read the install guide.
My wife chose this safety for her rifle over all the other ones I have, because it felt the easiest to move and the finish is nice even without a glove. These are quality kit.

Pretty disappointed in this selector

I bought this to replace a mushy selector in one of my AR’s. This is not mushy but it doesn’t snap in like it should. It’s pretty smooth…actually it’s too smooth. That’s part of the problem. For the price, I thought it would be crisp and snap from safe to fire.

It’s ok.

I bought this to replace a mil spec selector that was a little mushy. Honestly, this isn’t much better. I also have a Trigger Tech trigger in the lower and I thought this selector would be similar to the trigger in how clean it is. It’s a little hard to explain but it doesn’t snap into place like I expected. It kind of rolls into place. I probably wouldn’t buy this again for the price.
