Green is Good

Green Chevron is awesome! When bright the Chevron is fat, but still head shot groups at 100yds, So used to Red on an M4 that Green just makes me happy to be different. Awesome Acog for the price.
The best choice

Clear and light weight. Chevron in green draws your eye quickly. But once cry once. You will be forever happy with this scope
When I was in

When I was in the US Army; there wasn't anything close to this thing. I'm hesitant to call it an optic; I should refer to it as a Abrams without a canon already built in. I've been researching for a while and the only thing I can say from first hand experience is that the optics are world class. If the 7075 forged body holds up as well as everything I've read, this "optic" will still be usable in a few hundred years.
Seriously though, take a look through one first, the reticle appears to be based on one with 20-20 vision. As my older eyes tire through the day I find I need to pull my specs to see the reticle clearly. Saying that, I have NOTHING negative to say. I mean $$ sure, but as said before; buy once cry once. And honestly, with the optical perfection, I'd bet you'd have a hard time crying on this one. Oh, and PA - Top notch!

I've shot a ACOGs in the past but have never owned one. It's a great all purpose optic that allows me to shoot both near and far with both eyes open.

I finally got an ACOG!

I found this ACOG on sale and it was the one I have been wanting for a few years. I caught it on sale and got a discount to boot! Great scope from a great retailer. I have never been disappointed by Primary! They are a great company, naturally, they are in Houston, TEXAS!
Great optic

Glass is incredibly clear. Sighted in quickly. Would recommend that anyone that is thinking about getting this acog to do so. Well worth the price.
Expensive but worth every penny

Great scope. Yes there are newer types out there, but ACOG is still the king in my view. Tough as nails, dead on, and never needs batteries. This is my third ACOG, but my first with the green chevron. I think green is the way to go, at least for me. I can see it better than the red. The only issue I can think of, and it is a small one, is that in bright sunlight you will need to put a small piece of tape over part of the fiber optic. This will keep the brightness of the reticle down. That is a pretty small issue though. Primary Arms is a great company and delivery was fast. If you are a veteran or first responder, make sure to sign up for their discount program. I would definitely recommend this TA31F.
