Details

The Troy Industries X-Series SOCC Battle Rail is a lightweight, free-float AR-15 handguard to minimize bulk and maximize functionality. This ultra-lightweight handguard it offers precisely what shooters need without unnecessary extras. This handguard features M-LOK slots along the top panel instead of a top rail, dissipating heat while lowering weight. It features four 1913 Picatinny slots at the muzzle end and two at the receiver, along with four anti-rotation, quick-detach sling swivel mounts. Constructed from tough 6061 T-6 extruded aluminum and Type III hard-coat anodized, it's both lightweight and durable. Texturing on the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock M-LOK panels provides a secure grip for better control.

I've installed dozens of Aero Precision Atlas-S handguards and this 10.5" Troy matches for performance and aesthetics. It is very lightweight and contoured for a c-clamp grip that's accented by a nice non-abrasive grip texture. There are 4 QD attachment points at the rear of the handguard.
Follow the easy installation instructions for perfect and solid fitment (easier to install than the Atlas-S, imo). Mounting hardware does not include a necessary mil-spec barrel nut; I suggest either the CMG barrel nut SKU: 55DA296 or the DD barrel nut SKU: 01-013-22032. Keep in mind that a low-profile gas block is necessary. I just installed a Superlative Arms adjustable gas block on a .625 diameter gas block journal and it clears without resorting to a straight gas tube.
Primary Arms has the best price on this 10.5 Troy handguard by at least $25 or more elsewhere.
