The Tyler Gun Works Custom 1911 Government is the full-size Government-length companion to the TGW Commander — a hand-fitted, forged steel 1911 built in Texas with the same match-grade barrel, hand-fitted internals, and custom slide engraving, in a uniform all-blued finish that is the classic presentation for Government-length 1911s. At 5 inches, the Government configuration maximizes sight radius and muzzle velocity while delivering the full-mass balance that makes the platform one of the most natural-pointing pistols ever designed.

The Tyler Gun Works Custom 1911 Government is a single-action semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP, built on a forged blued steel Government-length frame with a forged blued serrated steel slide and a 5-inch stainless match-grade 11-degree crowned barrel with GI guide rod system.

The polished slide flats are engraved with an American flag on one side and "In God We Trust" on the reverse, with the model name accentuated across the flat — a visual signature unique to Tyler Gun Works that elevates the pistol well beyond standard production 1911 aesthetics. A Novak-style rear sight and dovetailed brass bead front sight provide a classic, precise sight picture suited to a Government-length platform. The milled front strap and steel milled mainspring housing provide a secure hold. All internal parts are CNC-machined steel and hand-fit to individual tolerances for precise, reliable operation. The beavertail grip safety ensures consistent activation with a high grip position. Checkered walnut grip panels complete the traditional Government Model presentation.
