The Volquartsen Forward Blow Compensator designed for Ruger’s 10/22 series rifles is an innovative product and sets the standards for aftermarket accessories.  

Although a simple addition, the Volquartsen Forward Blow Compensator not only aids in reducing muzzle rise and noise control but is also designed to direct the noise toward the muzzle opening instead of back toward the shooter.

Volquartsen builds the Forward Blow Compensator to stringent standards; angling 16 precision machined ports in a forward direction.  This simple modification sets a Volquartsen Compensator apart from the more common round hole approach and gives the shooter a much more pleasant and enjoyable experience.

This series of Volquartsen Forward Blow Compensators fits a barrel thread pitch of ½” x 28 threads per inch and is designed for the Ruger 10/22 series semi-automatic rifle.  Made from rugged anodized aluminum and yet weighing only 3 ounces, the Volquartsen Forward Blow Compensator fits 0.920” 10/22 Bull Barrels and will continue to provide years of dependable service without adding any significant weight.
