The Vortex Optics Defender-XL Red Dot Sight is a high-performance red dot sight designed for quick target acquisition and accurate shooting. It features a large, ultra-wide sight window for improved field of view and a 5 MOA red dot reticle for easy target pick-up. With a battery life of 25,000 hours and 10 brightness settings for day and night vision use, the Defender XL red dot adapts to various lighting conditions. Additionally, the sight comes with a motion activated feature with a 10-minute auto shut off that helps preserve battery life. A top-mounted battery compartment offers convenient battery changes without having to re-zero. The sight boasts a 7075-aluminum body with a shock-absorbing polymer insert and has aggressive Fast-Rack texturing on the optic face to rack the slide off of any surface. The Defender-XL is also waterproof, fogproof, and features a matte black finish for corrosion resistance and a low-glare appearance. It is compatible with firearms that have a DeltaPoint Pro footprint.
