A practical upgrade for competitive shooters and defensive handgun users, the Wilson Combat Flared Magazine Well for 1911 supports faster and more consistent magazine changes. This 1911 magazine well attaches to compatible full-size frames and funnels the magazine into the grip opening to reduce fumble during reloads. The flared opening guides magazines into position, helping maintain efficiency during training, competition shooting, and defensive practice. Steel construction with a blued exterior complements traditional 1911 styling, and the component is manufactured in the USA.

Very light blue finish not a deep coloring as one would think. The fitment is extremely tight, had to drive it on the rest of the way. Again tight fitment so it scratches the finish (can't see it with the grips installed but still) the notches didn't line up with the grip bushings so it had to be opened up with pliers. If the magazine has a thick bas plate it will not fit because it hits the magwell......just save your money, would expect better from wilson combat .
