The Wilson Combat NULA Model 20 revives Melvin Forbes' legendary ultralight rifle design, now built with modern manufacturing methods and backed by Wilson Combat's 45 years of firearms experience. Weighing in at just 4 to 5 pounds unscoped, this bolt-action rifle is built for hunters who feel every extra ounce on a long stalk.

Wilson Combat acquired New Ultra Light Arms in 2022 and spent roughly a year refining Forbes' original design before releasing this updated Model 20, keeping the platform's signature light weight while improving manufacturing consistency. The bolt is machined from 4340 bar stock and, like the receiver, wears an ArmorLube DLC coating for corrosion resistance. The carbon fiber stock's reinforced receiver walls add rigidity without meaningfully adding weight, and the hinged floorplate bottom metal is anodized aluminum for durability in the field.
