The Wilson Combat Shok-Buff Recoil Buffers act as a buffer on Beretta 92, 96, and M9 pistols to protect the frame from being damaged by the slide. This 1/10" thick polymer buffer fits between the frame contact surfaces and the slide to slow impact. The Shok-Buff Recoil Buffer installs easily by sliding over the guide rod's recoil spring and lining it up with the slide's front impact surface. Besides offering protection, the Shok-Buff Recoil Buffers also help reduce felt recoil and muzzle flip and are ideal for high-round shooting and firing +P ammo.

I love that such a simple product makes such a big difference. Adding this to my M9A4 setup which typically run suppressed, makes a smooth setup even smoother.
