The Wilson Combat Shotgun Side Saddle allows you to carry 6 extra shells mounted to your receiver for quick access for reloading. The shell holder is made from polymer with an aluminum backing plate to keep it rigidly secured to the receiver. It is designed to attach directly to the left side of Remington 870 shotguns without any gunsmithing or permanent modification required. Avoid at all costs

I used to work at a gun store and have installed at least 50 side saddles from various manufacturers. Finally can afford Wilson combat stuff, bought one. The threads stripped like butter. I've never seen threads strip so readily. Thought nbd, emails Wilson. They told me I was on my own. Had an issue with some other 870 products from Wilson, they absolutely refuse to take responsibility. Go with another brand.

870 saddle

While I liked the unit I was not able to use it. The screws were too short for my REM Super Mag and came through the case just enough to be flush with the surface and wouldn’t screw in the base. I’m sure a friend will like to have it.
