Details

Looking for a lightweight, high quality polymer magazine for your ZPAP85? These 5.56 magazines will be the perfect fit! The polymer frame contains a steel reinforced rear locking lug. The magazine has a BHO (bolt hold open) and follower that are also steel reinforced. They are tested at high and low temperature ranges and must exhibit consistent strength, resistance to shatter, and lubricity from -40˚ C/F to +60˚ C/140˚ F.

Pretty good mag, built similar to the magpul ak mags. The feed lips and forward lug arent teinforced, which is disappointing. The price is a bit high for what is essentially a range mag, but they are still worth the price

MAK 90

For anyone that has a MAK 90 in 5.56 this will fit. I bought one just to try it and glad I did. I manually cycled it to be sure it would feed, extract, hold open on the last round and it did. Only giving it a 4 star rating at this time for fitment. I will adjust that rating up or down once I shot some rounds through it.

A need has been filled

There are no BHO magazines available for 5.45x39 AK's that I have found. While these probably will bind the follower if fully loaded with 5.45, they fit and hold the bolt open just fine. My Galil ACE in 5.45x39 has no provision for BHO nor any easy way to accomplish it for cooling at the range. Problem solved!

MAK 90 fitment

This is my update as of March 13th, 2021 to my earlier post on the Zastava Arms 5.56 AK mag. This is for those of you that have the MAK 90 in 5.56. This mag will fit but each mag will need a little relief work at the top forward sides in order for the mag to be easily installed and removed like the factory metal mag. If you don't do this the mag will have a extra tight fit and will be frustrating to install and remove. Take a look at the factory metal mag and you will see the relief area that makes it easy to install and remove. Do the same relief to this mag and you will be good to go. I only went this route because this is all I could find in 2021. Good luck.

Happy to have them, but man are they wobbly!

I have four steel Zastava magazines for my ZPAP85 and they are tight and perfect... But these polymer mags that showed up today wobble about an inch from side to side! I'm sure they will function but I'm not doing any push-ups with them! LOL!

They work in my Galil

These magazines seem to do the trick in my Galil. I can't seem to find the original magazines, but the quality and function of these is "top drawer"
