The Aero Precision M4E1 is a machined AR-15 upper receiver feautring the Aero enhanced body profile and is threaded for compatibility with standard AR-15 barrel nuts. This 7075-T6 aluminum precision machined upper is compatible with all Mil-Spec upper components. Port door and forward assists not included. Features M4 feed ramps, laser engraved T-Marks, and an OD Green cerakote finish. Pairs perfectly with the Aero Precision M4E1 enhanced lower receiver and ATLAS series handguards.

Interesting design decisions

I was happy to see these were not actually stripped. Anyway, I removed the ejection port covers to install the new Magpul ones I also purchased. They do not fit. They are incredibly difficult to snap shut, and next to impossible to open. I then noticed that the threads for the barrel nut are cerakoted over. I put a barrel nut on just fine, but some of the cerakote was coming off when the nut was removed.

+ ejection port cover's rod is secured by friction
+ Incredibly tight fit to all my lowers
+ It looks cool

Every thing was a very tight fit definitely tight tolerance by aero percussion.
