I have a high level of confidence in Aero Precision products.
I would prefer there weren't so many marketing inspired BCG versions.
("Standard" and "top-shelf" models usually suffice.)
I believed the "Pro" version I ordered would have chrome lined bolt & gas key internals, but this one doesn't.
Chrome lining in barrels & chambers versus "nitriding" processes are reviewed & compared by performance. Little attention is given to how these processes deliver performance objectives.
Despite my questionable decision to buy this "Pro" version, there's no doubt it is a high quality product. I will acquire a chrome lined BCG for my next build and use this version as an expedient, drop-in replacement.

This thing is AMAZING! I was looking for my normal BCG, and I am PICKY, then I saw this thing. I am ashamed to admit I didn't even know Aero had a Pro BCG, but when I saw it, and being on sale, I pulled the trigger (pun intended). Once arrived I was BLOWN away at the quality, the nitride finish (which is what I look for these days over NiB) is excellent, and the counter bored cam pin slot is smooth as silk. This sounds silly, and I know others do this now or even had done this as well, but the marking on the cam bolt to let you know the side it was installed on so you can continue the wear pattern evenly is a great touch as well. This thing performs FLAWLESSLY! I loved it so much that I bought more. I will eventually replace ALL my bolts with this model!

Solid bcg. Functions flawlessly, very efficient, gas key is little larger than tight but still stellar in function. Looks good too. Arrived very clean & ready to run. Purchased a 2nd & very pleased.
