The Aero Precision Gen 2 AR-15 Stripped Lower Receiver with Burnt Bronze Cerakote finish provides a superior quality base for your next custom AR build. These stripped lowers are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and machined to MIL-SPEC dimensions, ensuring a secure fit with a range of standard AR-15 components and magazines. The flared magwell is a new Gen 2 improvement that offers a sleek look and aids in rapid magazine changes. The second Gen 2 upgrade is the nylon-tipped upper tension screw that allows users to fine-tune the fit of the lower receiver with any standard AR-15 upper. While not required for assembly, the takedown detent hole is threaded for a 4-40 set screw allowing the takedown spring and detent to be installed without a carbine end plate or rifle stock (screw not included).
