ALG Defense AK Recoil Spring

Used in my M70. The factory spring seems to have the spring constant of swiss cheese, and this spring noticeably reduced how hard the carrier was slamming into the rear trunnion (now it's more of a tap rather than a slam).

High quality ALG spring, no more snagging on trigger hammer. Excellent on firing with no cycling issues/malfunction. Installed on PSA AK.

I installed this on KR 103 from K USA. Replacement was bit challenging due to rigidity of the spring. I recommend to watch youtube video. After installation, charging is bit harder and more rigid than before.

At range, I could tell much lighter recoil. no more banging against my shoulder. I think cartridges discharging higher at 3 o'clock.

It is indeed the best budget upgrade for your AK.

This is very very hard to install compared to a traditional recoil spring but it is much better than the throwaway springs that Zastava and WBP use.

I've used these in two builds so far, and both make the action very smooth. Price is good, and cheaper than the Wolff spring by a few bucks, so that's a win.

Wow, does this send the bolt home! I just installed this on my AK and before (with the stock spring) the bolt carrier group would drag across the hammer and sometimes stick. Not anymore, it's like the hammer says nope can't stop that. Best 12 I've spent in a looooong time!

Grabbed one of these for my Zastava M70 and it is hands down the best upgrade for the money. The spring is smooth and consistent and it reduces felt recoil very well. Very hard to beat the performance gained for $12. I highly recommend buying one if you have any 7.62mm AK and would like to smooth out the action a bit.

Took possession of a vintage Norinco Mak 90 whose recoil spring had given up the ghost. Replaced with ALG and now no more peoblems. Plan for a struggle as this recoil spring was a bear to install due to increased tension
