No complaints, I'm glad I tried it.

No complaints on the trigger and I bought it to educate myself. I've put together about 4 AR's with standard lower parts kits. Of the 4, I would say this ACT is smoother than 2 of them but no better than than the other 2. The 2 that I consider equal have quite a few rounds on them - both live and dry-fire. Perhaps the ACT will loosen up and improve slightly over time. I have no complaints, but I doubt that I will buy another one.
Wow

Not a huge fan of two stage triggers in a non-target setup (had an expensive one have issues in a carbine class), prefer single stage reliable triggers in a defense/combat setup. This one is A++ wasn't expecting much, pleasantly surprised, zero take-up and very crisp break. Still probably 6lbs or so but night and day over a kit mil-spec trigger. May try the QMS as a standard trigger for builds from now on if it's anywhere close to this one. Little cash and 5min install is well worth what you get out of it.
ALG Defense 05199ACT Combat Trigger

Primary Arms was awesome to deal with. Purchased the trigger to find out a few hours later there was a sale w/ coupon code. Primary Arms honored the code after the fact, no questions asked. Will definitely continue to support a company who values their customers. The trigger is of high quality manufacturing, looks great, feels even better.
ALG ACT Trigger

Save yourself some bucks. For a combat trigger it cant be beat. Super smooth and void of that factory grinding that throws your rounds. For distance or precision work, yeah, you'll need a pricey unit. I've been running a Hyperfire 3G for that and love it. But for combat conditions, this is the right trigger.
Great Trigger

Smooth, clean, and predictable break. Installed on my S&W M&P 15-22. If I would have tried this first, I may have used it on my Yankee Hill Carbine instead of the Geissele SSA-E. I know we are talking about two different classes of triggers but for the money it has no equals.
Bulls Eye!

The ALG combat trigger combined with JP enhanced ignition springs gave me a super smooth, crisp sub 4lb trigger.
trigger creep
by john altmeyer
the ALG Defense combat trigger is a must for your AR. It eliminates all creep that is in most factory triggers. I've used this trigger in 6 AR builds. If you prefer a single stage trigger...this is it. It breaks clean, with a pull of around 5 lb. This trigger will help you become a better shooter and close your group size. A clear upgrade for your AR platform.
Wow!

Great Trigger

This is my second ALG trigger and I dropped this in a new build with a JP 41/2 spring and it works great. Clean and crisp. Tough to beat price wise, relative to what you get. PA, as usual, fast, efficient and on time.
Excellent single stage trigger
by Robert Wagner
This is the way to go if you don't want a two stage trigger. I received it fast from PA and installed it, replacing a very gritty mil-spec. What a pleasant difference! This is a very worthwhile upgrade.
