Amazing for the regular shooter on a budget.

I think this trigger is great for weekend and light / starting competition shooters. The price point is great, and the trigger is outstanding in quality compared to any trigger that comes with an affordable lower parts kit.
Perfect Combat Trigger

I replaced the stock trigger on my DPMS lower with the ALG Combat trigger. The original stock trigger was a typical of most stock triggers, breaking at 6.4-6.6 lbs with plenty of creep and grittiness. What a difference! This ALG combat trigger breaks sharply and consistently at 6.0 lbs (Wheeler trigger gauge). Construction quality seems very high. Installation is very easy and quick following the supplied instructions.

I purchased this trigger for a Spikes lower/BCM upper build. What drew me in was the low price and the great reputation, since ALG Defense is a sister-company of Geissele Automatics. The quality and craftsmanship of this trigger group is excellent. The trigger pull is similar to breaking a thin candy cane: There is no slack or grittiness. I will be putting this trigger group in the rest of my ARs.

I purchased the ALG Defense Combat Trigger as a replacement for my Colt carbine. I wanted to maintain a mil spec trigger without the creep and grit of the factory offering. Most economical AR trigger out there!

I love these things...have built 6 or 7 AR15 and AR10 rifles with them. Now they have the purple 4.5lb spring in the package, which is an outstanding bonus aND same price as the original kits. I seriously think anything else is overrated unless you are building a race gun that will NOT BE USED for defense/combat.
