American Defense Recon 30mm Scope Mount - QD Auto Lock Lever - Black

Seems to be a solid mount so far.

Bought this for my Bushnell. Simple setup. Locks up tight. Although I did not test it to see if it would hold zero if I took it off, I feel confident it would, as my others have. Not much else to say, but AD makes outstanding mounts. Money well spent.

Great mount. Little heavy. You want to make sure you torque the bottom ring screws 1st. Also, the supplied thread locker is really hard to get off if you drip any on the mount. I lapped mine and it seems rock solid. It also lets you adjust the rail clamp pressure. I tightened it up where I could barely close it, then backed it off one flat. The nut for the clamp is counter sunk which holds its position and the clamp is spring loaded which is nice. It’s still very tight, but I can get it off without having to pry the lever open. Will by another.

Great mount. Looks as good as it works on the rifle holding my Primary Arms 4-14x44 Arc-2-MOA scope in place on my 6.5 Grendel!

Lapping not required and no huge gaps in the rings! Precise quality work.

I would be amiss if I don't give credit where credit id due. Regarding the one half of the scope ring on my ADM RECON 30mm scope mount that was obviously machined improperly, I contacted ADM via e-mail explaining very nicely the issue I was having. I got a PHONE call back the very next day from 'Jeremy'. He got after it right away and shipped out a replacement ring that day. He was very apologetic that I had received a sub-par part from them. He kept in contact with constant e-mails up to and including the day that that I got the part in the mail (which was just a couple of days). He even sent me a sweet ADM t-shirt! Classy. ADM does make fine products and their customer service is even better!

As a whole, this particular scope mount, and American Defense is a 5 star rating. But, now I know why this mount is on sale.......Everything is fine EXCEPT that one half of one of the scope rings is cut at an angle so it does not match up perfectly with the other half. It still works fine, just looks like crap. The other ring is fine. If these mounts are on sale because they are 'factory seconds' or something, then it should be noted. If they are not 'factory seconds' or 'blems', well then I just must have got one that slipped past QC undetected.

Solid QD scope mount. Best quality i have used compared to a few that i have bought over time. Very secure attachment to scope and easily adjustable to fit different tolerances in rail size.

Will buy again.

compared to bobro, larue, I like the quality and functioning better. Works as advertised.Primary Arms was helpful with purchase questions.

I think its better if the rings are upside down locking instead of sideways for better easy alignment. Then it will be 4.5 stars.
