I want the old SS trigger setup back!!
by PatrickG
I ordered 3 of these right before Christmas and PA had them to me in just a few days!! The "NEW" Anderson trigger with the black hook style trigger is a downgrade in my opinion to the old SS style. I have had to polish up the trigger to make them feel decent as a "mil-spec" trigger. I have just used up the 3rd one and this last one the disconnector was horribly made. Very rough looking and out of spec so much that it was not allowing the trigger to reset after firing. Swapped it out with another disconnector and it works perfectly fine.
Pretty good kit.

All the parts were present and everything installed and worked as expected. The trigger is definitely not premium and is a little gravely but for the price I didn't expect any different.
Bad trigger
by Josh
defective front pivot pinThe trigger is not smooth at all. The front pivot pin's channel that the detent rides in is not cut deep enough. The pivot pin got stuck and ended up having to use force to get it back out. Compared the pivot pin with a PSA pivot and could really tell how much its off. Put the PSA pivot in and it works. Ended up damaging my lower though. Don't buy this product.
DO NOT BUY...
by Mike
These are not good quality parts. Also the parts may or may not match the picture you see on this website. I purchased several kits and they were two different type of hammers and triggers in the various kits. Some of the kits had these weird "bobbed" hammers. They look like 9mm hammers. The parts also look like they're sourced from some not-so-good sources. NO WHERE NEAR the quality of Schmid sourced parts (the parts that have a "S inside a square" stamp. This is it SUB PAR in quality.

Disappointing!
by Eric
The kit I received was good except for the trigger. The trigger components are painted including the engagement surfaces. The trigger had poor trigger feel and poor engagement to the point of being unsafe. In an attempt to "clean up" the trigger I honed through the paint which revealed that the engagement edge was missing small chunks of metal presumably from a poor grinding process. I am throwing out the trigger it is not safely serviceable. 2.0000
My Experience
by Scott
I recently built two lowers with identical Anderson lowers... one with this Anderson lower parts kit and another with a parts kit from another store. The Anderson parts are okay as was the other one I purchased. The difference between kits is the Anderson has a nicer thicker trigger guard than the other one but the trigger itself in the Anderson kit is awful. The other lower parts kit I bought has a very smooth crisp trigger where as the Anderson trigger feels like cheap junk with lots of travel before it breaks. The safety lever in the Anderson is also much stiffer to operate compared to the other kit. If I ever build another lower it probably will not be with an Anderson lower parts kit. I paid more for the Anderson kit also. I am now looking to purchase another trigger.
Anderson Lower Parts Kit

These triggers are JUNK! I have no clue what happened to Anderson Manufacturing but these are not the usual triggers I'm accustomed to buying. Unfortunately I purchased several of these kits a few months back because the price was great so I cant return them. These triggers look feel and operate like import junk. I put nothing but Anderson triggers on all my gun builds and have always recommended them to others up until now. I opened one of the Anderson boxes for a customer gun build and immediately noticed it was a black curved trigger and not the usual straight silver/grey type. Once installed it was obvious to myself and the customer it was junk. He agreed to the Anderson triggers because he liked the smooth crisp break in my personal gun. I had no choice but to replace it with a different brand. Now I'm stuck with a couple of junk LPKs. If this is the future of Anderson Manufacturing then good luck they just lost a loyal customer. As for Primary Arms great company fast service.
