Good servicable lower
by Larry
This is a good lower for when you want a nice running lower and don't care about the finish quality. I built mine with a Wilson Combat trigger, CMMG lower parts kit, and Brownells upper. The result was a smooth running AR that feeds flawlessly, looks good across the room, but shows it;s rough finish up close. I did not build it to win a beauty contest but I can count on it running when things go south.
I got lucky with mine, and the down side is that Anderson has less than stellat QC. Many have reported pin holes that are too loose, or rough burrs. The burrs can be taken out with a drill bit or file, then touched up with some aluminum black, but oversize holes may require more effort to fix. This is why I took off a star.
Is it worth the gamble? I think it is, I just wish I went with the no logo model.
A pretty nice receiver.

Finish is very nice. Everything went together with no problem except for the retainer pin detent springs. I had to drill out the channels. The detent pins went in and out freely, so it was probably the springs in the parts kit (also Anderson).
Anderson Lowers

It's hard to beat Anderson lowers; caught them on sale for $30 so I got 5 of them, all machined perfectly and blemish free. You just can't have too many on hand...
Triger holes out of spec
by Anthony -
SOi bought one of these to build a 300blk. After getting it all squared away took it to the range put a mag through it noticed my trigger pins were walking out, like to the point where im sure if i tried another mag it would have slid all the way through. I reset it tried another mag same thing. through two more sets of pins and still walking ever single mag. May have to grab some anti walk pins. it was only $29.99 not really worth sending back or opening a claim.

great

theres lots of hate for anderson, totally unfounded. they're great
Good lower for the price. Use GI mags and it’ll run fine.

Bought this when they were on clearance for $30. It’s a good lower, everything fits and works like it should, my only complaint is the mag well is a little tight and it doesn’t drop p-mags or other polymer mags free when you hit the mag release. You have to pull them out by hand. Which is fine for plinking but if you want mags to drop free go with the metal GI mags, duramag, or lancers.
Perfect Lower
by Pavel
My LGS has these for $51, transfer fee and shipping included. I have 2 of them, and they work perfectly. I don't understand the appeal of a lower that costs 2-5x more. All the tolerances are perfect, everything fits as it should. I'll keep buying these until the prices go up.
Great for the price
by Steve -
Don't really have any issue with these. I was in great shape and no apparent issues. It your basic stripped lower. Great for most build or for back up parts, especially if you get them on the under $30 sale price. Can't really give an affordable basic lower 5 stars.
Not "Just as good"
by F. Barnett -
These receivers aren't exactly junk, but quality control just isn't there. From milling burs in the detent holes to magazine wells that don't meet spec. Be prepared to complete some filing, millwork, and quality testing that should have been done at the factory. My advice? Plunk down the extra cash for an Aero lower. The few bucks saved on this anchor part just isn't worth it in the grand scheme of building your own AR.
Built two
by Awl
Got two and they are tight snug and good to go. Easy peasy building and great product.
