The Arisaka Defense 18650 Series Light Body is the full package of illumination. You can customize it to meet your needs, including choosing a head, a tail cap or remote, and a light mount upon purchase. The light body gives you a close, reliable fit when used with an Arisaka Inline, Offset, or Side Scout Mount. It has been made in the USA to give you the most reliable support and strength possible in a light body. The underside of the light body has mounting lugs and square lug interface so that it will work with all Scout tail caps and any aftermarket Scout mount.

The Arisaka hype is real! And customer service top notch. Look forward to running more Arisaka bodies on all my setups

Like everything arisaka it’s well machined. I got this on sale and already had a mount and surefire tail cap, so only needed to add a head(hrt awls cheaper one). The body design is a little more streamlined and pushed forward. I believe the offset mount would have worked better than the inline that I already had and will probably get the modlite clicky tail cap at some point. I recommend a little moly grease on the threads. If wanting a really good strong side tail cap activated light this works really well, if wanting a remote switch I believe it would be best to buy a complete combo setup.
