This 16-inch barrel is cold hammer forged from chrome moly vanadium steel for superior strength and durability. It features a manganese phosphate finish for corrosion resistance and a chrome-lined bore for easy cleaning and extended barrel life. The M4 feed ramp extension ensures smooth feeding, while the mid-length gas system provides reliable cycling. The barrel has a Hanson profile, which is lightweight without sacrificing rigidity, and includes a pinned low-profile gas block. This barrel is HPT (high pressure tested) and MPI (magnetic particle inspected) to ensure the highest quality. With a 1:7 twist rate and 1/2x28 threaded muzzle, this barrel is compatible with a wide variety of 5.56 NATO ammunition and muzzle devices.
