Best barrel I have.

Super accurate. Shooting less than 1 inch groups with 77 grain ammo. I have taken it to steel at 300, 400, 600, 750 and 950 yards. Runs great. Only con so far us the barrel is not dimpled for the gas block.

Not what I was hoping

I waited to rate this until I was able to test accuracy. I ran 12 hand loads and 5differnt factory loads including 2 match loads. Only one load went under an inch (.910"). It was a heavy load of Varget under a 69gr Sierra BTHP. Most loads were 1.5 to 2" with match grade bullets. Not horrible I guess but worse than I was hoping considering Ballistic Advantage's reputation.

50 rounds down with premium ammo and the best group at 100 yards is 8 inches. Very dissatisfied with this barrel. I have four other ballistic advantage barrels that shoot very good.
Only a (3) shot MOA guarantee

I bought this barrel for a DMR build. I've hand loaded for years butafter 100 rnds of yellow box bullets I couldn't find a load for this barrel that would hold a 5 shot group inside 1MOA. I learned afterwards on BA's website they only garuantee a 3 shot group.
Poor accuracy

This is my 3rd and most likely final Ballistic Advantage barrel. The first two were a 14.5 and a 16 inch barrel, which demonstrated "good enough" accuracy for their intended purpose. This barrel, unfortunately, demonstrates consistently poor accuracy. 5-7 moa with IMI M193, and 2-3 moa with IMI 77 grain Razorcore, Black Hills 77 grain OTM, and Hornady Black 75 grain ammo. I tried contacting BA through their website messaging service...no response. I tried calling their customer service number, and after being on hold for an hour, I left a message. No response. So, at the end of the day their "1 MOA guarantee" is bs, since they apparently have no interest in following through on that promise. Buying these barrels is a roll of the dice. Maybe you'll get a good one, maybe not. If not then you're probably stuck with it.
