The Ballistic Advantage Modern Series barrel is combines the durability and strength of 41V50 chrome moly vanadium steel with the exceptionally corrosion resistant salt bath nitride treatment. This provides not only an impressive barrel life, but ensures excellent accuracy and an affordable price. Every Ballistic Advantage barrel is guaranteed to give sub Minute of Angle accuracy with match grade ammunition.

This 20" Heavy contour barrel matches DPMS pattern bolts and features a gently tapered profile that helps improve the balance of the completed rifle and allows for the use of common .750" gas blocks without the use of unsightly steps.

Very nice and just what I wanted a real heavy weight barrel and will be ordering more in the near future and really fast shipping and was boxed up good

Great barrel

I slowly built my M5E1 Aero rifle up for about a year and a half. This barrel I got on sale in December of 2019. I got my final parts just before everything started to disappear in 2020.

This barrel will produce about 1.2 to 1.5" groups with plinking ammo and just out having fun. However, with match ammo I was able to find out that this barrel will shoot around the .5"(half MOA) 5 shot groups.

I would buy this again.

Bought a barrel that was on sale at the time installed it nothing but problems. This one went on sale same day after I bought the other one. So I bought this one as well. Installed world of difference works perfectly no issues. Cycled a few unfired rounds through it minor brass damage from the feed ramps. The other barrel had MAJOR damage from feed ramps barrel extension and chamber. In short this is the way to go.

This barrel is awesome! I ordered one for an Aero Precision M5 build. This was the first rifle I have ever built piece by piece so I was a little skeptical about the first shot. I ordered all Aero Precision parts except for the barrel. Along with the Primary Arms 4x14 FFP Orion I was shooting 1.5 inch groups at 200yds on the Break In!!! Overall a great barrel. It is a beast and not light at all but that's how I built it. PA provided very fast shipping and I would HIGHLY recommend this for anyone looking to get into long range shooting.
