Great barrel, reasonable price.

I have owned this barrel for a little while now and am extremely happy with it. Got it set up and pinned & welded a flash hider on it to keep the rifle from being an SBR. I've put plenty of rounds through it now and have been pleased with how well its performed. I can ring 6" steel gongs at 125 yds all day even with just the red dot I'm using on this rifle. I'm sure this barrel is not being used to it's full potential and would be better suited for a gun with a nicer optic. Would definitely recommend this barrel for anyone looking.
Good Barrel

I bought this barrel in January of 2020 and finally completed the upper in December. The barrel assembled well and the finish is good. I do wish they would dimple for the first gas block set screw to make assembly easier. My son has put about 200 rounds through it. It zeroed excellent and shot decent groups with a red dot sight out to 300 yards with bulk reload ammo 55gr.

Bought this barrel a year ago. Finally built into a P/W legal 16 inch upper. The barrel assembled perfect. The barrel shot great at about 2MOA at 100 with cheap ammo and a RDS. Great barrel with a nice nitride finish!

No dimple

I know that BA provides Aero Precision with barrels and I like both companies but why no barrel dimple? All set screw gas blocks have the one screw that goes 180 degrees from the gas port. There are several different widths between the screw centers but the one screw is always in the same spot. Why would you not provide a locating dimple for ease and proper installation? Like the finish and all. I am waiting on a muzzle break to fire. Just wish I didnt have to dimple the barrel myself but oh well.

Picked it up on sale for $99. I was ready to invest much more on my next build, but I saw it on sale and decided to try it.
This barrel is installed on an Aero upper Aero gas block and tube. I installed a YHM phantom flash hider/comp. Lower has a Vltor A5 buffer tube, tubb flat spring, and Griffin Armament buffer.
It's perfectly gassed and runs as smooth as my 20in FN barreled rifle. But it's much shorter and lighter! I'm shooting 1moa @100yd with 77gr Razor core. Pick it up before prices skyrocket!
