If you're looking to take advantage of .300 Blackout ballistics out of a long barrel, this 16" barrel from Ballistic Advantage is a great choice. This Modern Series barrel is made from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with a quench-polish-quench nitride coating that's extremely corrosion resistant and easy to clean.
Features:
- 16" barrel
- Chambered in .300 AAC Blackout, 1:7 twist
- 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel
- QPQ nitride finish
- Pistol-length gas system
- .750" gas seat diameter
- Threaded 5/8x24
- M4 feed ramp barrel extension
- Sub-MOA accuracy guarantee with match-grade ammunition
- High pressure tested and magnetic particle inspected
The .300 Blackout bullet was designed to be subsonic and shot suppressed for an extremely quiet gun, while shooting supersonic bullets through this longer barrel allows for better terminal ballistics, making it a great choice for a suppressed hunting or general-purpose carbine. The 1:7 twist rate is optimal for stabilizing the heavy .30-caliber bullets .300 Blackout is known for.
Ballistic Advantage has produced some of the best AR products and match-grade barrels for semi-automatic platforms for over thirteen years, proudly producing quality AR barrels that exceed very stringent demands.
