Upgrade the barrel on your Colt or GLOCK-style AR build with the 16" Modern Series 9mm Straight Profile EPC AR-15 barrel from Ballistic Advantage. Chambered in 9mm with a 1:10 twist and threaded 1/2x28 for attaching your favorite muzzle device, this barrel is compatible with standard mil-spec uppers and other dedicated 9mm upper options.

Since 9mm operates by blowback on the AR platform, this barrel needs no gas block or gas tube. To run UZI or GLOCK magazines, a unique Colt/RR magwell-style conversion is required.
Note: a standard 1/2x28 flash hider won't have enough clearance for a 9mm round to pass through -- confirm a 9mm round will drop freely through any muzzle device's bore before installing it.

Good barrel

This barrel was my on my first ar15 9mm build. It runs flawlessly with all kinds of ammo. And with Winchester 147gr hp i got one inch groups at 50yds and 3in. At 100yds
Good feeding, but not very accurate, very dirty

The good thing is it had no feeding issues, I guess due to the large feed cone.
Not so good news is it's not quite accurate. It shoots 1.5-2" groups at 25 yards, slightly preferring 124gr. However, at 50 yards, it's a random 6" spread for 10 round groups, both for 115gr and 124gr.
Another thing that I noticed with the BA barrel is that its blowback is very dirty, seems like it pushes back much more dirt and unburned powder than barrels with more traditional, less "generous" feed cone. The orange magazine follower turns coal black after just several rounds.
