Details

The Battle Arms Development Workhorse AR-15 Handguard features a free float design with M-LOK slot compatibility. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and black hardcoat anodized finish for long term durability. With the included barrel nut, this 9.5” handguard setup only ways about 7.83 ounces. The slim 1.36” internal diameter is comfortable to use with still enough room for low profile gas blocks. The Workhorse line of AR-15 handguards are a great way to upgrade your rifle.

The Workhorse is Near Perfect!

I have the 9.5" and the 15" Workhorse handguard on rifles I own. Installed correctly, they are rock-solid and very light. The attachment options are as elegant as they can be - no more picatinny rail than you need with plenty of M-lock options.

My only caution is this: the barrel nut locking mechanism is a little finicky. Be meticulous when bolting it on, and it will be as stable as granite. I got it wrong the first time, and it tended to rock back and forth a bit.

The quality of Battle Arms Development's pruduct line has made them one of a few of my no-hesitation go-to manufacturers!
