Details
Note: The listed length of the handguard refers to the length of the top Picatinny rail section. The actual handguard length is slightly longer.
The freefloating Bravo Company MCMR M-LOK Rail eliminates external load on the barrel, reducing deflection for more accurate shooting. Featuring the same industry leading barrel nut and lock up design introduced on BCM's KMR handguard, the MCMR series of handguards delivers modularity for the M-LOK platform. Its proprietary patented mounting system (US Patent 8904691), includes a mechanical index to the 12-o’clock rail and positions mounting hardware to mitigate movement caused by heat.

Solid platform, but *CAUTION*
by Jesse -
This rail is solid as a rock. I have no problem holding zero on accessories I have mounted. The mounting solution BCM came up with for their rails is beyond comparison. Word of caution though: I am currently running a 13.7" barrel with a Dead Air flash hider and I had to trim back the rail about 1/8" in order for the QD system to work. This rail is made for 13.9" barrels at the very least.
Just What I Ordered

This isn’t the first BCM handguard I’ve purchased, but it’s the first one I’ve purchased from PA who is quickly becoming my preferred online retailer for my black rifle needs

I've got three of these now, it's BCM...top of the line!
Outstanding handguard
by William -
This is my first BCM handguard purchased but wont be my last. The quality ranks way up there with other handguards costing over twice the price. Installed over a SA .750 clamp on piston system. Like others have mentioned you will need a heat gun to expand the end to fit over the barrel nut. Thank you PA for your expedited shipping, fantastic pricing, and superior customer service.
Good replacement for Midwest Industries Handguard for GAU-5A Style Build
by Mark -
I purchased this handguard as an alternate to a Midwest Industries (MI) handguard for a USAF GAU-5A style rifle I was building. MI no longer manufactures a handguard that is compatible with the CryHavoc Quick Release Barrel (QRB) system as all of their current models have large anti-rotation tabs that are incompatible with the QRB attachment plate unless they are cut off or the QRB plate is milled to accept the tabs.
Since I was making a version with a 16-inch Geissele Automatics CHF chrome lined barrel, the 13.4-inch handguard worked best along with an MI low profile gas block for a sleek look. I read the instructions carefully and made sure to heat up the end that attaches to the proprietary barrel nut with a hair dryer for about 15 minutes. It went on with little trouble and the spacing to the receiver was an exact fit to mount an TA11 3.5x35mm ACOG using an ARMS #19 double throw lever mount with good eye relief.
Rail kit
by Curtis Watkins -
Well...it appears to be a good rail... but while trying to put it together the barrel nut rounded out. Now I have to order another one to finish the build. Not a fan of using heat on stuff to assemble it. The reciever took a bunch if heat to get it put together. Hoping rail doesn't take that much to final assemble it. They may be cool but I won't ever use another one. Only reason I bought this is to keep the gun all BCM.
My logic is undeniable!

Goodbye.
Light, thin, and high quality
by Jp -
This was purchased for a lightweight build with a pencil barrel. It made for a lightweight well balanced carbine. Very thin in the hand but feels strong. Was simple to install and included all hardware.
Excellent value

Installation can be a bit challenging, but totally worth it. Rock solid, relatively light, and inspires the same confidence that you get with most (if not all) BCM products. Highly recommended.
