Details
This BCM Bolt Carrier Group features an ion bond finish in flat dark earth for reduced friction and ease of cleaning. Machined to USGI specifications, the carrier has a chrome lined interior and heat treated gas key secured with properly staked grade 8 fasteners.
The bolt assembly is machined from carpenter No. 158 steel, shot peened for increased strength, and is high pressure tested and magnetic particle inspected. Includes tool steel machined extractor, ejector, and BCM extractor spring.
NOTE: All BCM bolt carrier groups are factory test fired. The BCG may show handling marks consistent with these quality control procedures.

Good to go

We all know BCM is well known because of their BCG's. If you've worked in an industry that has stringent QC, you understand why it's important and BCM is particularly good at it. Function is perfect as expected. The IonBond coating is..meh. I would've grabbed a regular phosphate BCM BCG if I had handled this one prior to getting it.
FDE finish wearing rapidly.

Highly impressed at first but already seeing a lot of wear on the finish. After only 100 rounds I'm disappointed.

Put this in an all black AR and it just look awesome. Functions perfectly. Yet another quality product from BCM.
Excellent BCG

Outstanding BCG; works flawlessly; matches Aero Precision FDE upper/lower set reasonably well. BCM's quality and Primary Arms's customer service are a great combination.
