This BCM Bolt Carrier Group features an ion bond finish in flat dark earth for reduced friction and ease of cleaning. Machined to USGI specifications, the carrier has a chrome lined interior and heat treated gas key secured with properly staked grade 8 fasteners.
The bolt assembly is machined from carpenter No. 158 steel, shot peened for increased strength, and is high pressure tested and magnetic particle inspected. Includes tool steel machined extractor, ejector, and BCM extractor spring.
NOTE: All BCM bolt carrier groups are factory test fired. The BCG may show handling marks consistent with these quality control procedures.

Excellent BCG

Outstanding BCG; works flawlessly; matches Aero Precision FDE upper/lower set reasonably well. BCM's quality and Primary Arms's customer service are a great combination.

We all know BCM is well known because of their BCG's. If you've worked in an industry that has stringent QC, you understand why it's important and BCM is particularly good at it. Function is perfect as expected. The IonBond coating is..meh. I would've grabbed a regular phosphate BCM BCG if I had handled this one prior to getting it.

BCM has been the golden standard! Love this BCG. Hasn’t given me a single issue yet! Just be mindful the “FDE” is more of a bronze, which I like better actually. 5 stars!
Machining marks

I recently purchased this bolt and have not yet fired it. I took it out of the packaging to mock up my new build this weekend and examined this bolt. The outside of the bolt is machined perfectly, however the inner portion looks like it was machined with a dull bit. It is rough to the touch with a divot in the material aswell. This is not really what I was expecting from a BCM bolt.

Amazing piece! Nice and slick in the upper. Does not bind and cause a jammed like the Toolcraft Logo'd BCG I bought right out from the bag from PSA. Returned it, and bought this. Glad I made the right choice! Can't go wrong with BCM.
Never meet your hero’s

I’ve wanted the FDE bcm bcg for over 3 years and finally got it… I open the box and it looks great, all the specs are inline. It performed flawlessly. You know they say never meet your hero’s well if a bcg could be my hero it would be the FDE bcm and it didnt let me down!!! It went into a ddmk18 suppressed ran great, chunks the brass a mile

You can definitely tell there is great attention to detail. The only thing is the bolt extractor doesn’t come with a O ring, BCM says the extractor spring is powerful enough you don’t need one. Overall great quality.
