The CAT AKBAR is a midsize 3D-printed Inconel .30 caliber rifle suppressor with a 1.375x24 HUB mount, featuring SBX internal geometry engineered for consistent performance across DI, piston, bolt-action, and semi-automatic platforms with a maximum caliber rating of .300 WM.

Four features define the AKBAR's multi-platform suppression advantage. 3D-printed Inconel construction — the alloy of choice for aerospace and high-temperature applications — provides corrosion resistance, temperature resistance, and structural integrity that titanium and aluminum cannot match under the thermal and pressure extremes of sustained rifle fire, at the cost of higher weight (17.5 oz) relative to CAT's Ti-CAT variant. The SBX internal architecture is engineered to tolerate high gas loads from short-barrel combat rifles while maintaining the controlled, predictable backpressure that precision bolt-action and long-range semi-automatic platforms require — a single design that runs at opposite ends of the performance spectrum.
