Unreliable

by

Screw head broke off during first install. No reply when email sent to CMC customer services for replacement pin and screw. Spend a few dollars more and get a reliable set.

Great to us on drop in triggers

I have a set of these and they are great. To the person who. gave it one star. Trying calling them direct. I had a probelm where i got a cmc trigger and i lost the pins. And they sent me out a new set of these. Never have had a probelm with these.

you get what you pay for

cmc no reply to phone calls or emails regarding broken/seared screw head

Buy these, he happy, move on

I've used 8 sets of these never had a single problem. These come a hair wider then the lower receiver, so they can be used as is or can be shortened to have a perfect fit. The pin diameter is standard size, NOT oversized. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Missing Screw

set arrived missing one screw...I assume Primary didn’t catch it before shipping it out. Just adds to the drama of getting the build completed. Sent CMC an email and pic of the unopened package today.

good customer service

by

I saw some of the bad reviews here about customer service and thought I would chime in. One of the screw heads broke off during install, hey, it happens and it was a little disappointing but I sent an email to their customer service and got a reply back in under and hour. The shipping dept is sending me a replacement no questions asked.

SORRY YOU HAVE TO KEEP BUYING THESE.

Unfortunately you probably can't stay away from these as the only reason you're here looking is because you broke yours. I own 3 CMC triggers (One Lantac branded), and should have learned my lesson after the first one. The triggers are good with very little creep, but these pins are absolute unreliable garbage which quickly turns the trigger into unusable garbage until you spend another $15! As some people mention the bolt head shears off, sometimes before you even get it snug! It's easy to say well they probably over tightened it, but if you get a bad one you will laugh at how quickly it snaps off (taking it out will likely break them as well) Got tired of paying and searching for in stock replacement sets so I started using Mil Spec pins but they walk right out every other mag or so because there is no detent. It may be annoying, but at least it works on the range with your spare parts kit and doesn't break every few hundred rounds! CMC should be ashamed of this.

Customer Service

by

Spent a good chunk of change on a build and found a couple of discrepancies while building. Contacted customer service regarding the trigger hammer pins being sloppy loose and a missing roll pin for my bolt catch. PA Customer Service promptly sent a roll pin as well as explained the purpose of a anti-walk pin set for complete trigger assembly's.

They work just fine.

I've used 4 sets of these now, never had a problem with screws breaking, and only 1 pin of the 8 was slightly too tight to get in the hole, which was quickly taken care of with some 1200 sandpaper. Thread lock one screw in each pin, tap the pins in, thread lock the other screw, gently tighten. It's really not that hard. I will continue to use these on every build.

No Brainer

Anti-walk pins are an easy add to any build. Sure, mil-spec trigger pins shouldn't come loose, but not all are created equal and it does happen. I feel like the few extra dollars is well worth it for the peace of mind, and I prefer this CMC version for their affordability and simple, low profile design compared to other brands.
